Things you probably need to know:
My name is Katherine Prieto, and I'm a Business& Writing Consultant (aka Scribe).
You can reach me at hellenicscribe@outlook.com.
I have a B.A. from ASU in English Literature. My emphasis was Central & Eastern European Literature, the Political Theater, and Cross-Cultural Writing.
Post-graduation, I specialized in root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and process improvement. My favorite role for this was as an International Logistics Analyst for 3 years.
I serve both businesses and individuals. Check out my services page for more details.
Things you probably don't need to know, but I'm going to tell you anyway:
I've been a writer since 2nd grade, when I entered a story into the District Writing Contest. The story was about our dog. I won a ribbon for it. It was a pivotal moment, because I realized people saw value in my words, and it was the platform my little voice was heard loudest.
My favorite genre is historical fiction.
I was a traditional Greek folk dancer for more than 20 years. I never want to stop dancing.
"Wife" and "Mom" are the most important titles I'll ever earn.
I don't like to toot my own horn, but I make killer baklava.
The most sentimental work I've written to date is my grandfather's obituary.
I'm an avid crocheter.
System of a Down makes for the best workout music.
One time I "danced" with Charo. She came into the audience at a concert and tried to get me to shimmy. I was 13 and super awkward. True story.
